Mirjana, an introverted and emotionally detached police detective who is deeply dedicated to her work, arrives at a remote village in rural eastern Serbia to investigate the mysterious disappearance of a young girl. As her investigation progresses, Mirjana encounters a insular local community guarding a dark secret connected to pagan traditions, folk magic, and a mythical creature from ancient legends. The search for the missing girl gradually transforms into a psychological and supernatural journey, forcing Mirjana to confront the suppressed fears and trauma of her own past.
